This is our recreations director taking care of some phone calls. She is an expert at napping and litter scratching. She also likes to scratch loud random objects at about 4 AM and will occasionally tap the side of your face with her paw, lightly, to get your attention. Her secondary duties include hairball launching and part box warming. She actually hates to ride in cars and yowls explosively when forced to do so.

The Mrs. She is the primary sponsor and most frequent driver of Team Skittle. She has a tolerance for my tuning obsession unmatched by any sane person I've met to date. Indeed, she has an affection for manual AWD turbocharged cars. Her current duties include teaching at a local grade school, reading sometimes two - three novels a day, cross stitching, gardening, taking care of her chickens, and trying to comprehend my endless technical drivel. Without her companionship and support none of this would be possible.

Here I am: Builder, Tuner, and Driver of this project (and others), striving for excellence and mechanical purity in all of my projects. I seek solidity, simplicity, and elegance with all of my creations automotive or otherwise.

I do the work on our cars including spending the extra time to clean bolts and and muttering under my breath when parts don't fit or scraping large pieces of skin off of my body, and the victory drive after a successful install. My primary duties are to watch the Crew Chief during the day, drive a 13 ton transit bus at night, researching repairs and upgrades for my cars and others, housework, and keeping the family cars going. Other pursuits I peruse include baking, drinking super strong, spoon disintegrating coffee (Kohi desu!) at the local cafe's where I write or discus vehicular evolution and ideal upgrade integration with other Team Skittle members.

This is me tracking down a short directly before a 500+ mile road trip July 2005. Photo taken on an SLR by a most wonderful fellow who does archival work for a major university special collections library. He was very patient while I spent most of a day fixing this.

M___, Team Skittles Audi consultant, R+D, driver/co-driver, dispatch, road trip execution wizard, computer systems integrator, and transportation data collector.

"everything I see I ask myself how I can install a computer in this and what could I do with it?" -M

M___ comes up with ideas on how to make things work better, more than once he's come up with something only to find out later that someone has actually made it.

M is our resident Audi expert. He started out in the Audi world with a pristine 1983 Gobi (goldish colored) urQ (first-Quattro). M's second Audi, a 4000s Quattro died after a long diet of zero maintenance. It provided us with two years of excellent CIS beater transportation though. Someone else did an engine swap on it and it got sold into obscurity after they had left the windows open during a rain storm.

Before the Audi's M had a Golf GTI and a Corrado G60 both of which he has fond memories of. The GTI was gutted and caged. He also turned up the wick on the G60 to the tune of about 200hp

M___'s latest and greatest addition to the fleet is a 1995 Audi urS6 Quattro. It's a giant black sedan with AWD and an inline 5cyl 20v 2.2l turbo engine. We picked that up 6/11/2006 in Pennsylvania. With 300hp it's leaps and bounds ahead of driving the 4000 or the urQ's.

We often drive each other to pick up new vehicle purchases which have turned out to be a series of great road trips. I couldn't have gotten the A4, GS-R, or the Blueberry without him. M also is very knowledgeable about computers, people often ask him to build them custom boxes.

J____. Engineer, MR2 expert, problem solver, world traveler, cafe master.

J is another wonderful fellow that I met through my old transit job. We both delight in frequenting cafes and driving aimlessly in our free time. He is seldom sedentary whether it's work or play keeping him moving. We are usually found sitting at one of the local cafe's (not starbucks!) talking cars or making bizarre youtube-worthy plans.

His job has him traveling to exotic locals multiple times a year and he has brushed elbows with the likes of famous F1 teams, and major Automobile manufacturers among others.

J ____'s MR2, Kawasaki Vulkan, and his Civic hatchback daily driver are all highly entertaining. The MR2 is a constant reminder to me what a well balanced cheap(?!) car is capable of. For the non- repair parts present the car is simply amazing (and well driven!). The civic is much like my Accord project was when I got it, though much better looking. It needs a lot of maintenance, but despite that it drives nicely and gets 45mpg freeway!

J____'s Kawasaki Vulcan 500 looks brand new. He's already ready for the next size up although this bike is surprisingly quick for its displacement. Its liquid cooled and a lot lighter than its immediate competition.
